Co-founder/owner and producer of the AMBI Group, Lady Bacardi endeavours to fund, produce and distribute motion pictures to a global market. By means of the AMBI Group, Lady Bacardi endeavours to distribute between 8 and 10 movies each year, ranging from in-house to 3rd party creations. A number of years ago Monika Bacardi took over the acclaimed 'PHOTO' magazine, which has been operating since the 60's.

l'Opera de Monte Carlo has been aided by Amis de l'Opera (an organisation that Monika Bacardi has contributed greatly to) for over 30 years. One of the reasons she created AMBI Pictures is that she wished to encourage young filmmakers, due to her strong interest in "The Seventh Art" (Cinema).
