Lorraine qualified as a medical herbalist in 1999 after four years of training with theCollege of Phytotherapy (Herbal Medicine). She has worked in clinics, at Whipp’s Cross Hospital in the dermatology department, and in private practice.

Following her interest in the energetic properties of people and herbs, she continued her post-graduate studies with the Scottish School of Herbal Medicine, gaining an MSc from the University of Wales in 2003.

Lorraine treats a wide range of patients and follows a holistic approach, taking into account diet, lifestyle and emotions. She is very interested in nutritional aspects of health, not only in such areas as food intolerances, but throughout a wide range of health problems. In her practice, Lorraine is influenced by the Western tradition of humoral medicine, a way of looking at people which recognises the unique balance of each individual.
